All-EPAC Men’s Basketball Honor for DCCC’s Martin
Schnecksville, PA—The Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) has named Jabree Martin to its 2024-2025 Division III Men's Basketball All-Conference Team as part of its full list of men's and women's honorees. A first-year guard for the Delaware County Community College Phantoms, Martin earned Second Team honors.
The Phantoms' leading scorer, Martin averaged 18 points per game, shooting 52.5 percent from the field, 38.8 percent for three, and 80.9 percent from the line. He averaged 5.4 rebounds and 4 assists through 24 games (all as a starter), playing a team-high 883 minutes.
"Jabree was extremely productive and efficient on the floor, and consistent from start to finish," said Head Coach and Athletic Director Dwayne Saunders. "This is a well-deserved honor for what he did this year and also a testament to all of his hard work that I witnessed during the off season."
In addition to highlighting Martin's skills, Saunders lauds his player's character on and off the floor. "He goes above and beyond in every respect," Saunders said. "He's a solid student and a source of inspiration for his teammates. He's everything a coach wants in a student athlete."
Martin appreciates receiving recognition while keeping his focus on the team. "I'm most proud of our bond and the way we stayed together as a team through the season," he said. He looks forward to next season playing as a more-experienced squad that he feels will be able to compete for a championship.
"Jabree returning will pay dividends for our program," Saunders said, excited to coach Martin's continued development. "What he brings as a teammate and a person benefits all of us."
