Bethlehem, Pa. - Foday Wagay connected on a season-high five three pointers but it wasn't enough as the Delaware County Community College men's basketball team fell 77-57 to host Northampton Community College Saturday afternoon.
The 12th-ranked Spartans (9-2, 5-1 EPAC) built a 37-22 at halftime and never looked back as they notched their fourth straight victory.
Wagay finished with a season-high 16 points, while Shawn Mendez also reached double figures for the Phantoms (3-4, 1-3) with 13 points including a 7-for-9 performance from the free throw line. Mendez added a game-high 16 rebounds on the way to registering his fourth double-double of the season and 15th of his career.
Chase Johnson chipped in with a collegiate-high nine points while Jason Dunn added eight.
Zykir Williams paced Northampton with a game-high 19 points.
