BALTIMORE — The Delaware County Community College baseball team dropped a pair of games on Saturday at Community College of Baltimore County Dundalk. The first game saw the Lions earn a 10-0 victory in six innings before closing out the day with a 13-0 win in five innings in Game 2.
CCBC Dundalk (9-24) limited the Phantoms (0-8) to three hits in the opener. Cidrick Navas went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles to left field.
Lions pitcher Aldo Mercedes made life difficult at the plate for DCCC as he struck out 14 in Game 1.
Wayne Stewart (0-3) went the distance in the loss for the Phantoms.
Two Dundalk pitchers combined to hold DCCC hitless in the nightcap.
Phantoms pitcher Patrick Magargee (0-2) had to contend with a potent Lions lineup that hit three home runs in Game 2 and four on the day.
