Phantoms fall to CCP in First Road Game of the New Year

PHILADELPHIA, Pa – Delaware County Phantoms fall to Community College of Philadelphia 77-52 in their first away trip of the New Year. The Phantoms struggled shooting from the floor making under a quarter of their shots with a 24.3% shooting percentage. Delaware County's struggles shooting only got worse beyond the arc, shooting 14.3% making only three of their attempts.

Vinny Boykin and Issa Clarke led DCCC in scoring, Boykin finishing the game with 16 points four assists and three steals, Clarke had 13 points and snagged eight rebounds in the contest. Jacob Bradshaw was the only other Phantom to eclipse the double-digit scoring mark, finishing with 10 points four rebounds and two assists.

Delaware County will have just over a week off before their next competition where they will take on Buck County Community College at home on Thursday, January 19th. Tip off is set for 7:00pm. The last time these two teams met the Phantoms fell in a shootout 117-107, their highest scoring competition of the year.
